Taking the risk out of risk assessments; a guide for formal intermediate and advanced risk assessments
31 Jan 2024
About the event
This presentation will mobilize my knowledge of formal risks assessments into two parts; intermediate and advanced. I will introduce why risk assessments are so important from a legal and policy context and assert that it is essential for staff and patient safety. I will show why formal training and understanding is essential in formal risk assessments; and those that attend this webinar will leave with that critical training. I will use examples of my formal risk assessments and how I use my risk assessments as a basis for standard operating procedure development; policy development; training core content and education. I will give you in one hour what took me 9 years of post-graduate training to learn.
