Q Visit to Cambridge University's Department of Engineering

About the event
This will be a large open day event; to give 100 members an insight into joint work developed between the Royal Academy of Engineering; Royal College of Physicians and Academy of Medical Sciences around encouraging a systems approach within health care improvement. Offering plenary talks; skills workshops and real-life engineering examples; this visit will introduce core elements of the approach: people thinking; risk thinking; design thinking and systems thinking. This informative and interactive visit will consider how current quality improvement tools and approaches could be enhanced and improved through wider application of approaches more traditionally associated with engineering.
