About the event
To enable delegates to understand joint working methods and assessment tools across the spectrum of brain injury. To learn and put into practice more cohesive and effective commissioning decisions as a result of understanding how brain injury effect child and adult populations. To bring together commissioners; therapists; educators/academics and professionals to learn from each other; as a way to enhance and join-up the commissioning and delivery of key services. Understand validity and reliability of 2 music therapy-based assessment tools (OOMPA & MATADOC) which can be used for Brain Injury diagnosis (MATADOC) and assessment (OOMPA & MATADOC).Reset/reimagine how the arts therapies work within an MDT across ABI/TBI cases .Present an enriching view of interdisciplinary working and highlight how the arts therapies should form a necessary and intrinsic part of treatment/rehab packages. Enable delegates to make better commissioning and treatment decisions based on the presentations/information at the conference
