This unique conference offers an engaging programme of high quality and evidence-based presentations on innovative Neurologic Music Therapy programmes; collaborative clinical work; legal considerations in Neurologic Music Therapy input; and recent research and developments. The pathway of care and the journey of change are central to each client and service that Chiltern works with; and the day will feature clinical work covering the whole life cycle – from infants and children to older adults. The use of Neurologic Music Therapy and MATADOC within pre and post trial arrangements and an overview of a cost-benefit analysis by London School of Economics on Neurologic Music Therapy input for patients with ABI/TBI. Presentations of our Pathway of Care including specialist interventions such as MATADOC and NMT assessments; through to Community Music programmes such as DJing and Carer training and home programmes. Speakers will focus on across the different Traumas - acute trauma; slow-stream brain injury rehabilitation; stroke pathway; vocational rehabilitation input; community care.
