We have been asking our members from across the industries the reasons why they became a CPD provider. This CPD Member case study was provided by Bilco UK. For more information, please visit their CPD Member Directory page.
Please provide us with a brief overview of your organisation. What do you do?
Bilco UK is one of the UK's leading providers of roof access solutions, offering a comprehensive range of roof access hatches, smoke vents, floor doors, ladders and roof safety products.
Why did you become a CPD provider?
Bilco UK wants to ensure we provide industry professionals with the very latest guidance on regulations and best practice regarding the provision of smoke ventilation and safe roof access, to successfully meet the requirements of all projects by achieving successful and complaint specifications in line with the latest Building Regulations.
How did you implement CPD accreditation in your organisation?
Accredited CPDs are trusted by architects and specifiers within the industry. All of our CPDs are accredited, as we have a responsibility to ensure we are supporting industry professionals in meeting legal compliance. Our experienced Specification Sales Managers deliver both live online CPD webinars and face-to-face CPDs where they can answer any questions. When writing new CPDs we always work with an accredited party such as The CPD Certification Service to ensure our content is checked, up to date and approved.
How has CPD helped your organisation achieve its learning objectives?
Bilco UK is part of Access 360, a division of Tyman UK & Ireland. We deliver well over 100 CPD seminars per year to architects, specifiers and construction trades with CPD certification. Our case studies and presentations allow industry professionals to understand the legal requirements, regulations and compliance, as well as offering inspiration by the many projects where our products have been successfully installed.
