This course is aimed at staff who are supporting people whose care and support involves risk assessment and management. It will provide useful information about risk; positive risk taking and enablement. The course will involve practicing risk enablement processes. In addition the course uses a number of learning activities (for example: discussion; group work and individual reflection etc.) to help participants to have a deeper insight into the challenges and opportunities for working proactively and positively with risk issues.
