About the CPD course
Safeguarding is the responsibility of everyone working with young people in education settings. This course covers roles and responsibilities of Teachers; Tutors and Teaching Assistants to protect children from harm or abuse; and aims to develop or refresh awareness and understanding of Child Protection. It is suitable for any current or prospective education professional working with young people under the age of 18 and covers: categories of abuse; responding to concerns; reporting concerns; record keeping; and online safety. No prior knowledge is required as an introduction to safeguarding is provided. This course is also available through the medium of Welsh.
