About the CPD course
This module will help managers understand the area of employment law relating to dealing with disciplinary issues and will help establish a best practice process and procedure; whilst improving confidence in dealing with disciplinary issues of varying types. It will cover the importance of dealing with disciplinary issues fairly; along with the necessity to follow the ACAS code of practice in order to mitigate risk. It will also take you through a number of disciplinary scenarios and guides you through the process of how to approach them. What the course includes: Why it is important to follow a disciplinary process; Initial considerations when conduct concerns arise; The formal disciplinary process; Short-serving employees and Common problem areas.
