About the CPD course
This course provides informational sessions on the Syrian refugee communities for local authorities and practitioners. Participants responsible for both policy and programming for Syrian refugees will receive introductory information on the diverse cultural traditions and makeup of Syria a summary of service infrastructure in Syria and family structure an introduction to the conditions Syrian refugees have experienced since the conflict began and an exploration of the culture shock process to better understand and anticipate refugee needs for incorporation into services in the UK. The sessions include up-to-date statistics and information.
