About the CPD course

The purpose of this course is to consider how wargaming might be used to analyse and develop strategy. We must consider what strategy is; how it flows from one’s understanding of victory; and how it is influenced by the choices of others. In applying wargaming to strategy; we must unpack wargaming as method by understanding its history; its unique features; and how it can be best applied to questions of strategic analysis. By the module’s end students will be able to evaluate if; when; and how wargaming might address some of the challenges organisations and individuals face today.
