Applying Human Factors Principles to your practice

Medical errors are avoidable and preventable by enhancing communication and collaboration among health professionals. Reviews over the past two decades; call for better collaborative patient-centred practice being healthcare professionals and interprofessional education. The purpose of this training is to provide Multi Disciplinary Team face to face training to increase awareness of human factors and how it affects performance in the workplace. It will provide the opportunity to use scenarios; reflect on the impact of civility and allow teams to ‘work as a team; train as a team’; and action plan.
