About the CPD course
Blended online course with tutor support
ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder) is a neurodevelopmental disorder that does not impact intellectual ability, but it can significantly hinder a child's ability to learn and benefit from school. ADHD is a learning difficulty that does not usually affect intellectual ability. With inclusive support, these creative, curious and innovative children will learn to control their moods, modify their behaviour and build positive relationships. This 20-hour blended course provides access to online evidence-based content and at least two live tutoring sessions. An authentic ‘real-world’ task simulates best practices and provides opportunities for learning to be personalised and embedded in everyday practice. Participants taking this course are equipped with the knowledge, understanding and skills to plan and deliver targeted interventions that lead to better learning outcomes for students with ADHD.
