About the CPD course
Blended online course with tutor support.
In many classrooms, there are learners who have difficulty planning and carrying out movements. These learners may have motor coordination difficulties, also known as dyspraxia. It is important that schools build daily opportunities for learners to practice their motor skills. These targeted interventions will help a learner develop their confidence in movement, balance and using their hands to perform routine tasks. This 20-hour blended course provides access to online evidence-based content and at least two live tutoring sessions. An authentic ‘real-world’ task simulates best practices and provides opportunities for learning to be personalised and embedded in everyday practice. Participants taking this course are equipped with the knowledge, understanding and skills to plan and deliver targeted interventions that lead to better learning outcomes for students with motor coordination difficulties.
