About the CPD course
This course is made up of 5 modules covering the basics of Food Safety Awareness. Course content includes: an introduction to food safety; an overview of the legislation and laws surrounding food safety; what HACCP is; the different types of food safety hazard; types of food-borne disease; safe food storage; safe food preparation; time and temperature controls; reheating and cooling; personal hygiene; keeping the workplace clean; cleaning equipment; cleaning schedules; waste disposal; pest control; and allergens.
