Safeguarding Every Day
About the CPD course
Many of the children and young people we work with have experienced trauma to some degree. This training will help to develop a secure understanding of what trauma is and the term adverse childhood experiences. It will explore how the brain works when the child experiences a traumatic event and what impact we may see on their behaviour and development. Finally we will explore the trauma informed environment. This seminar structured training with discussion and tasks can be provided in-person or online.
