The Suicide Awareness and Prevention course provides participants with crucial skills for identifying and supporting individuals at risk of suicide. The training focuses on prevention; intervention; and raising awareness. Participants learn to recognise warning signs; understand the factors contributing to suicidal ideation; and develop safety plans to reduce risk. The course includes practical exercises; case studies; and role-play scenarios; equipping attendees to engage in supportive conversations and create proactive support systems. The aim is to foster a deeper understanding of suicide and empower participants to intervene effectively in crisis situations.
