About the CPD course
This session is a targeted training package which focuses on balancing capacity and demand across services. The session Improvement: Capacity and demand bite size looks at capacity and demand planning as well as how to balance workloads within your department. By the end of the session; you will have gained an understanding of the following concepts: Capacity; Demand; Activity; Q.I techniques; Marginal gains. This should help to improve patient flow and smooth over patient transitions between departments.

The trust runs The James Cook University Hospital in Middlesbrough and the Friarage Hospital in Northallerton.
