About the CPD course

This training provides professionals with knowledge to support discussions with young people about their educational choices. Professionals who engage in this workshop will be able to better support students who are considering their next steps for post 16/18 study. The training covers the following areas: An Overview of Level 3 and 4 Pathways - Introducing the array of different options available to young people aged 16+. The Apprenticeship Pathway - Covering the different levels and types available how to find apprenticeships the application process and more. The University Pathway - Covering the application process admissions student finance and support available.

The Southern Universities Network (SUN) is a collaborative partnership, providing higher education outreach activities for schools and colleges across Hampshire, Dorset and the Isle of Wight. It is part of Uni Connect, an Office for Students-funded national programme, offering activities, advice, and information on the benefits and realities of going to university.
