About the CPD course
0.5-day training Co-dependence is a mental; emotional; physical; and/or spiritual reliance on a partner; friend; or family member. Co-dependents feel uncomfortable in their self. To be acceptable to others and to their self; they hide who they are and become who they perceive they should be. Understanding Co-dependence explains the origins of co-dependent behaviours; identifying how we can support and heal the underlying emotional trauma; supporting people to develop healthy; interdependent relationships with their self and others. Face to face course; run by skilled facilitator. For delegates who have completed SAFE Foundation Introduction to Felt Trauma Therapy.

More than forty years ago SAFE set out to provide safe accommodation for women and children fleeing domestic violence and abuse. As Exeter Women's Aid we established and managed the Exeter Refuge. Over the decades SAFE has supported thousands of individuals and families to be safe and to recover from the harm caused by domestic violence and abuse.
