About the CPD course
0.5-day training: Understanding Shame Recognise how shame impacts clients who have experienced trauma. Understand childhood roots of shame and how it continues influence in adulthood. The workshop will identify different types of shame and look at how shame links to our felt trauma and core beliefs. Delegates will learn how to support recovery from unhealthy shame; enabling clients to identify triggers; and build new patterns and healthy behaviours based on forgiveness and positive growth. Face to face course; run by skilled facilitator. For delegates who have completed SAFE Foundation Introduction to Felt Trauma Therapy.

Over the decades SAFE has supported thousands of individuals and families to be safe and to recover from the harm caused by domestic violence and abuse.
