About the CPD course
This trauma informed training is our most comprehensive package. It covers a broad range of information in order to equip participants with the knowledge and skills to understand the landscape of Domestic Abuse and respond appropriately. It empowers participants beyond the scope of a general awareness training by encouraging self-reflection and critical thinking as well as providing education that focuses on survivor experience; intersectionality and the impact of trauma.
We work to protect and support victims and reintegrate offenders. Our strength is in partnership working and integrated approaches across sectors, particularly linking Criminal Justice services to voluntary sector and Local Authority providers. Our broad spectrum of work includes support for victims, (including those requiring specialist services and crisis support), restorative justice, support for the families of offenders, early interventions, work in the field of domestic abuse and through-the-gate offender mentoring.
