About the CPD course
This 2-day intensive training workshop is designed for Audiology/ENT staff; with current competence in Otoscopy; to develop the core competency knowledge; skills and behaviour to enable them to safely and competently remove necessary earwax from routine ears. Training involves face to face theoretical tutorials; a theoretical assessment; hands-on practical training; and a day of supervised clinical work which includes a practical/oral competency assessment and an observation logbook. This training structure and content is based on the current British Society of Audiology (BSA) (2020) Minimum Training Guidelines for Aural Care Delivered by Hearing Health Professionals and BSA (2021) Aural Care (Ear Wax Removal) Practice Guidance
We aim to provide bespoke Audiology Courses in our purpose-built training facility. You will have access to a wide range of premium audiology equipment provided by Guymark UK, one of the UK's leading distributors of audiological equipment. All courses are limited to a small number of delegates to ensure a relaxed atmosphere where everyone can work at their own pace. Our developing relationships with professional bodies and universities enable us to provide the most relevant and up-to-date training across all aspects of audiology. Complete preparation is key, and where required our Audiology practices Hear in Hagley and Hear in Wombourne will refer clients to attend to guarantee the human experience!
