About the CPD course
The workshop is about challenging behaviour that teachers might face in the classroom and the focus is on children with ADHD. The session covers ADHD definition; characterization; symptoms; types of ADHD and severity. The aim of the workshop is to familiarize the participants with the nature of this mental disorder and provide them with information about the techniques which can support them as educators to deal with this challenging behaviour inside their classrooms and around the school. The session includes activities which helps the attendees relate to their own experience and put themselves in the shoes of an ADHD child.
