About the CPD course
This workshop allows educators to participate in various cooperative learning techniques that support collaboration; the improvement of higher order thinking; social and communication skills and above all student engagement. Participants will be completing various tasks that focus on cooperative learning which will enable them to find ways to apply these techniques in their own classrooms; grade levels and subject areas. These techniques include: Think Pair Share (TPS); Placemat; Speed Dating; Write Around; Note-Taking Pairs OR Scripted Cooperation; Send a Problem.
