About the CPD course
This workshop aims at exploring the enduring impact of literature on young learners and the aspects that literature teachers should focus on to engage their students and enhance their analytical & critical-thinking skills. Exploring the diverse perspectives of approaching literary works will be given proper attention. The instructor will examine the three different levels of reading: contextual; close and comparative. Teachers will be introduced to the seven different categories of formulating literature questions along with the mistakes that should be avoided. A closer look at stylistic devices and their impact in constructing meaning will be effectively evaluated.
