About the CPD course
Marzano strategies are basic skills that promote greater comprehension by asking students to analyze a subject then expose what's essential and put it in their own words. Marzano believes that effective teachers set goals and check for understanding. Teachers should give positive feedback for student progress. If students don’t understand; a teacher should go back and re-teach certain concepts. He suggests that teachers should help students interact with new information by chunking smaller sections and checking for understanding; using media; making predictions; and responding in writing. The more engagement in the learning; the more students’ retention.
The International School of Elite Education is established on a strong and sound foundation of core values and ethics, with a strong emphasis on academic achievement. We do not only teach core subject matter, but also focus on life skills. We prepare our students for a new tomorrow: one in which critical thinking and problem-solving skills will be crucial for their success. All pupils are valued as individuals. Confidence and self-esteem, which are essential for success, are actively nurtured and developed. We are based in New Cairo, Egypt.
