About the CPD course
This course is aimed at people who have lived experience of ill health/used services and want to learn more about how to support others. It will give learners an insight into what a peer group is: why we have them: what to consider when running a peer group and how they can be an advantage to our communities. The purpose of the course is to encourage people to learn and develop their own skills to enable them to go out and support their communities by either volunteering or setting up their own support group.
