About the CPD course
This course is aimed at staff who work in Higher Education and have student facing roles e.g. academics; student welfare support; programme support; receptionists; library staff. The session will help delegates achieve a greater understanding of the importance of professional boundaries for when supporting student wellbeing in a university setting. The session also explores policy and legislation that contributes to university duty of care to students and promotes an awareness of useable skills and reputable resources that are available to ensure that interactions with students are empowering consistent and supportive.
