About the CPD course
This module will help managers understand the area of employment law relating to unauthorised absence and will help establish a best practice process and procedure; whilst improving confidence in dealing with unauthorised absence situations. This module takes you through the difference between authorised and unauthorised absence and the process that should be followed; including appropriate forms of communication when dealing with unauthorised absence. You will follow three different scenarios which will demonstrate how to manage cases of unauthorised absence; along with identifying entitlement versus authority. What the course includes: Overview of dealing with unauthorised absence; Process - Contact and Records; Authorised absence; Case study and Disciplinary.
