About the CPD course

A combined level one introduction and level two and three advanced safeguarding course which provides you with the knowledge and skills required to effectively carry out the duties of a Designated Safeguarding Lead. It explains common types of maltreatment and abuse and how to recognise if they are happening; how to record information of a disclosure; how to report and who to refer to. The advanced level three content features what happens after a referral to social care has been made and the various relevant laws and sections.
