About the CPD course
A course designed to cover the relevant mental health first aid principles specifically for children and young people. The course delivers content on: Mental Health and the law including sections; Recognising and understanding stress; anxiety and depression; Engaging someone to talk about their mental health who may be reluctant to do so; Recognising more complex mental health issues; Common psychotropic medications; Self-care: Managing and maintaining your own mental health; Signposting.

We aim to raise funds to subsidise the activities we offer and are a not-for-profit organisation. We rely on grants and donates and small charges to our events to ensure we can continue providing our services. There are a variety of programs and activities available for people of all ages to engage in, and we’re happy to offer our community a wide range of options for them to enjoy.
