About the CPD course
Making Every Contact Count (MECC) is about using the millions of day-to-day interactions frontline staff have with people; as opportunities to encourage positive changes to their health and wellbeing. This half day training enables frontline staff to identify and maximise these everyday opportunities to Make Every Contact Count; by having person-centred conversations to identify key priorities and provide effective signposting. It is designed to refresh participants’ knowledge of key health promotion messages and gain skills on how to effectively communicate these to individuals using brief and very brief intervention frameworks.
